I'm al...Ok I've been thinking of Halloween. I'm all for it in moderation. I think if we parent well, you can keep kids away from the bad parts of Halloween. Most of that stuff doesn't start until high school or college anyway (when the kids would be old enough to form their own opinions of it). I see nothing wrong with kids being frightened, within reason. As for dressing up? Sure, you can dress up as St. George, but wouldn't it be cool to be the dragon he slayed too? I don't think you need to be dressed as a saint, though I do see the merit in it. I just think its limiting to ONLY do saints when there is so much out there that you can still use from saint stories to get the real meaning of All Hallow's Eve. (That said...
